The Bow Valley Chamber of Commerce (BVCC) is located within Treaty 7 territory, traditional territories and home of the Stoney Nakoda, Bearspaw First Nation, Chiniki First Nation, and Wesley First Nation as well as the Tsuut’ina First Nation, the Blackfoot Confederacy, and the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3. We acknowledge and appreciate that we live, work, play, and promote economic development in their territory and commit to the work of truth and reconciliation. Our intent is to be respectful of the beautiful, shared land that we call the Bow Valley and provide opportunities for our members that follow the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada's Calls to Action.

Bow Valley Chamber of Commerce Wins 2020 Chamber of the Year for 150-350 Members!

Since COVID-19 the BVCC has been working hard for the Bow Valley Business Community to provide unique and helpful offerings for our members such as:
-The Bow Valley Restart Fund (BVRF). The BVRF provided grants for local Bow Valley businesses that are facing unforeseen costs due to the sudden nature of the COVID-19 pandemic. In partnership with the Town of Canmore we raised $107,724 and awarded grants of up to $5,000 to Bow Valley businesses between July and November 2020.
-POST COVID-19 Thriving in The New Normal: An Interactive Webinar Series
-2020 Support Local Campaign and the Fall 2021 Buy It In The Bow Campaign
-SMARTstart: Local NEW entrepreneur training program
-Events: To date we have offered over 13 virtual events in 2021. These events were provided virtually so BVCC members could network and enjoy learning opportunities safely during the pandemic. And now in person events are back in full swing! We have already hosted 3 in person events since restrictions were lifted and the GOA REP program introduced.
-2022 Peer Mastermind Program.
-Small Business Week celebrations and programs: QBO Full Day Training and 106.5 Mountain FM Business Tips Contest.
-The BVCC also offers a personalized directory listing for all members, sponsorship opportunities, value-added programs such as the Chambers Plan group benefits, and advertising on many platforms! Such as: social media avenues, Newsletters, BVCC website, Rocky Mountain Outlook, Crag & Canyon, and 106.5 Mountain FM.
