Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Statement

At the Bow Valley Chamber Of Commerce, we believe that diversity is not only a strength but also an essential component of vibrant and thriving communities and economies. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all individuals, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, religion, ability, or socio-economic background, feel valued, respected, and empowered to contribute to our shared success. And that’s just the start.

Our chamber embraces diversity in all its forms and recognizes that it enriches our organization, the businesses, and communities we serve. We actively seek to create opportunities for dialogue, collaboration, and engagement among individuals, businesses, and organizations from diverse backgrounds to promote understanding, innovation, and mutual participation, that we believe creates a competitive advantage. We are championing women in business and through our benefits programs we help to create mentally healthy workplaces and more accessible spaces where everyone is able to participate to their potential.

Through our commitment to diversity and inclusion, we aim to build bridges across differences, break down barriers to success, and create a more inclusive and equitable business ecosystem where every individual and business can thrive. Together, we can harness the power of diversity to drive innovation, foster economic growth, and build a stronger, more resilient Bow Valley community for the future.
